She sold her body to the town's gossip
Ashamed, Untamed she gave her soul
For a miserable twenty dollars
She bought a rock in the corner store
The old street pavement was the companion
Of her leather boots and miniskirt
Her long blond hair, dirty and messy
Covered her old red halter top
Her pimp stood in the dark corner
Across the street she nightly worked
A christian priest sat beside her
Her eyes watered as he gently spoke
You have done things that are so wrong
Your baby was found in the garbage dump
Would you like to see him and hold him
Open your eyes, redeem your soul
She stoop up and went with him
A cry was heard not far from her
As she got close, she saw her baby
O! How beautiful he was!
She knelt to God and asked permission
