^*^ Our Last Laughter ^*^
I'd like to stir the simmering caldron
Of this world's complacent minds
I'd like to voice my observations
On a subject which eludes mankind
I call to order your keen attention
To contemplate on this holy thought
May my words bring you enlightenment
And the peace for which you've sought
At the time in the Garden of Eden
When Eve believed the serpent's lies
The evil deceiver won the first laugh
Which cursed us in our graves to die
So it has been through the centuries
Adam's generations in sufferings paid
But Christ Himself guaranteed salvation
By the ransom on the Cross He made
Close your ears to satan's whispers
To test our faith he's been a pest
We must speak the Words of Victory
Proving our last laughter is the best

Where O death, is your victory?
Where O death, is your sting?
