Defense Wounds
The assaults were vicious
Carved up nicely
Sliced to the bone
Still I bleed
From my defense wounds
I did fend off my attackers
But damage was done
Serverly injured
Constantly I bleed

Some offenders I knew
Others were strangers
Most never paid a price
Always I bleed

Don't call for help
No bandage will cover
Peroxide is useless
Endlessly I bleed

Stitches would be fruitless
Take your needle and thread
And go
