Trembling down the path of life
As the wind blows through my soul
Feels like there's no place to run to
And nowhere to go
When I was young I went my way and fell apart
Lost the love inside my heart
Now there is no peace
There is no truth
I lost the innocence of my youth
At the point of no return
I fall down to the ground
In the struggles of life
Looking hopelessly around
I stretch out my hand
Yet it seems there's no one there
But,
Your Love it lifts me up
From all the pain and despair
Your Love it lifts me up
And helps me to breathe again
In my life I was wrong
You were right all along
How can life be
Without Your precious undying Love,
Memories of You and I
Life is so sad
That it makes me wanna cry
Once together then no more
Separated by the wall of spiritual nature,
I'm a sinner
You are the only begotten Son of God
And by hanging on the cross
Before my life began
You died for many souls
Then in three days
Your arose again,
The eternal final sacrifice before God
Gave souls so much hope
Now many know
They would not perish
But through You
All have a chance to be saved,
With so much gratitude
There's nothing left for my soul to say
Except please Lord stay
Stay inside of my contrite broken heart
For I never wanna be apart
From Your precious undying Love,
It's true, sometimes I sit
And simply cry
With many tears falling from my eyes
The feelings of happiness and sadness
Which my soul couldn't no more hide
Now it feels so much joy
That my words cannot describe,
And as,
Your Love it lifts me up
From all the pain and despair
Your Love it lifts me up
And helps me to breathe again.
