In this world where pride reigns
Meekness is always trampled by the evil hearts
And as the wind of contrariety blows in my face
Down on the lonely road
I am in search for the true essence of Love,
So deep within inside my heart
I hear a voice sounding through
Child listen to my advice
Listen to the everlasting truth,
Did anyone tell you
That you have a beautiful soul
Did anyone tell you
To hold on to your dreams
And never let them go,
Did anyone tell you
That only through God
You will find the everlasting love
Did anyone tell you
All true essence comes
From the heavens up above,
I felt that something was missing in my life
Struggled with the emptiness inside
Had the urge to be filled with something new
Once lost in this world
Now I'm so in search of the truth,
But as fast as the destruction in this world grows
Time like an eagle flies
I know this world doesn't want me to know
That life without You Lord
It withers and dies,
And as the never ending journey
Takes its toll on me again,
All I need is Holy water
All I need is Your Love Lord
All I need is Your presence
To come down on me from above
And give my soul strength to carry on,
Please come into my heart
Let Your love melt away the pain
Cause I am all out of breath
And my strength has gone away,
Oh comfort me dear Lord and please say
Those reminding loving words,
Did anyone tell you
That you have a beautiful soul
Did anyone tell you
To hold on to your dreams
And never let them go,
Did anyone tell you
That only through God
You will find the everlasting love
Did anyone tell you
All true essence comes
