Bells will be ringing,
children they'll be singing.
Santa he'll be bringing,
on his sleigh tonight.
A sack full of toys,
for all girls and boys.
And their stockings,
will be stuffed just right.
He'll be dressed all in red,
from his head to his toes.
He's a jolly old elf,
that! we know.
He won't make a sound,
when he lands with a bound.
Then he'll place all the
toys just so.
He'll be sure to take time,
for the cookies and milk.
And a note that he finds
by the tree.
He's quiet as a mouse,
all through the house.
When he wraps up the job,
then he'll leave.
Up the chimney he'll go,
through ashes and soot.
To his team gives a nod,
with delight.
He'll be back again,
on a cold winters Eve.
So "Merry Christmas" to all,
and to all a goodnight.
