Poetic Verses
Wallflower
Whilst amongst thy company
too shy to attempt
Leary of thy bold outbursts
thy words leave me exempt
And tho I try to understand
and with hand to try my best
Never it seems good enough
compared to all the rest
And so my back I place
against that solid wall
to face then thy words affront
rather than hit from behind and fall
And from this vantage point
I watch without a sound
until that final nail
in my coffin thee doth pound
7/20/08
too shy to attempt
Leary of thy bold outbursts
thy words leave me exempt
And tho I try to understand
and with hand to try my best
Never it seems good enough
compared to all the rest
And so my back I place
against that solid wall
to face then thy words affront
rather than hit from behind and fall
And from this vantage point
I watch without a sound
until that final nail
in my coffin thee doth pound
