She rests her weary little head
Upon leaves, she made as a bed
And she watches the clouds float by,
Her friends laugh and play in the woods
She would too, if she only could
But, all she does, is lay and cry,
Her wings got broken, by a tree
The pain she's in, won't let her be
Now, she wishes that she could fly.
