Winter Sky

I look toward the winter sky
All I can think of, is you,
The snow falls all around me
I should feel happy, but I'm blue.

A new year is around the corner
But, Dad you are not here,
I missed you so much this Christmas
How can I go on, ringing in the New Year?

I cried on Christmas night
And I couldn't help myself,
I know Christmas is supposed to be a happy time
But, that's not the way that I felt.

All I have now, is memories
No one can take them away,
I would hate to see myself
Come next Father's Day.

The snow falls all around me
I should feel happy, but I'm blue,
I look toward the winter sky
All I can think of is you.
