Do Not Judge A Man
Do not judge a man,
When his soul is broken,
And sorrow, rules his heart.
Where demons dance,
Amongst his shadows,
Within a world, torn apart!
Do not judge a man,
For his words,
When rage is new to him!
Believes enforced upon…
His broken dreams,
And the tragedy within!
Do not judge a man,
When at rock bottom…
He has come!
His tears engulf him,
Like torrential rain,
Blinded by what he's done!
Judge him now!
As he hands do reach…
The tops of the pit above!
Pulling himself out,
Freedom and peace,
Cooing like the dove.
Judge him now,
For his strength,
To battle his inner foe!
Back, now straight,
Eyes alert,
His face now all a glow!
Judge him now,
For his survival,
To be reborn again.
Learned from his darkened past,
Wise, and compassionate
Cured now from his pain!
For what was once,
Is not now,
His soul's no longer broken!
He is now healed
And his heart now beats,
A new man has awoken!
