One Body

Anything done in word or deed,
Make sure that it is not for greed;
Do to honor the Lord your God,
Taking time to honor and laud.

Sing a song with a thankful heart,
Each day for getting a good start;
Then go to the Lord God in prayer,
Both joys and troubles for to share.

Let the peace of God follow you,
In your travels of the day through;
And continue into the night,
Making everything looking bright.

Peace comes when Christ controls your thought,
Remembering what you were taught;
That you are now part of the Son,
Being within you and as one.

So be humble patient and kind,
Allowing Christ control your mind;
For love is an important way,
No part of the body will stray.
