Another day in the Midwest summer fair

Expose their basement skin
Take amusement park rides
Cajole and dare each other to let go
Eat exotic fried food on a stick
Pluck fingers at sticky bubble gum cotton candy
Guzzle syrupy pale yellow lemonade
Time to exit
Drive the country road home
Spot a deer in the woods
Nearly run over a possum
Belch, and loosen up their Bible belts
Go to sleep peacefully
