 <*> Tyson's Last Fight <*>
Pitbull Pictures, Images and Photos

I remember a fine day in the month of May
Way back in the days of yesteryears
A long ago day filled with horror and dismay
That terrible day was filled with fear

On that morn I stood at my bedroom window
Facing the shores of the Caribbean Sea
When in my ears I heard a loud noise
I became startled to an extreme degree

My neighour owned a pit bull called Tyson
Everyone in the area was scared by his size
The dog was not friendly and was very fierce
He carried hatred in his big black eyes

So it happened on that day in May
Tyson was disturbed and got very mad
By a boy who teased him with a stick
The result of that action was very sad

My attention was caught by a nice old man
Who was walking accompanied by a horse
He was taking it to graze on the grass
We did not expect what resulted of course

Suddenly Tyson gave a mighty loud growl
He jumped over the fence in much distress
The dog ran towards the unsuspecting horse
With one leap Tyson sank his teeth into its chest

At first I could not believe my frightened eyes
The old man fell backwards unto the ground
He let go of the rope that was tied to the horse
The animal bolted making a terrified sound

I felt so helpless as I witnessed the scene
Why had Tyson behave in such a way?
Tears of despair flowed down my face
The boy fled away with not a word to say

Both of the animals were locked in flight
The horse ran wildly along the sea shore
Tyson was hanging on with dangling legs
I closed my eyes not able to watch anymore

With a scream the horse rose on his hind feet
And began to circle in a dance of death
The old man ran behind them shouting aloud
He collapsed on the ground without any breath

That was a day I will never forget
The day that Tyson fought his last fight
The injured horse had to be put to sleep
From that day onward Tyson did not bite

The dog Tyson lost his spirit to live
He thereafter remained meek as a lamb
He walked with his tail between his legs
In the Caribbean Sea he always swam
