 Whence Comes this Melancholy

Whence Comes this Melancholy

From whence comes this melancholy,
This emptiness in my soul?
Neither rhyme nor reason can foretell
Just how I lost control.

Seems all was quiet, pristine, safe,
Then sudden teardrops start.
You're moving on, who'll take your place,
And mend this broken heart?
