Humility
You claim to be so humble
But always, you know best
Which makes you seem a counterfeit
When you are put to test.
The arrogance within your mind
And smug, self-righteous way
Have made it very hard to hear
A single word you say.
Yet, you persist in boasting
Of great things that you do
While knowing deep within your heart
That most are quite untrue.
But humility is a virtue
That you never showed to me
And the person you try hard to hide
Is what most people see.
