 The Rainbow In The Graveyard

Photobucket

So there we were, on the Isle of Skye
Laughing, joking, driving by
When past a graveyard we did go
And amongst the graves, was a rainbow

Now; when I was small, I was told
That at the end of a rainbow, is gold
But gold I now know, is not in worth
But giving life in deaths earth

Amongst the mountains and shoreline
Was nature in all its awe, so divine
Green, Blue, Violet and yellow
Red, orange and indigo

Never have I seen such beauty
It took away all negativity
I felt the gold glittering inside
As I felt her by my side

The end of the rainbow I had seen
It was everything in which I dream
I felt the dead smile once more
As it opened heavens door.
