Dear Hiding Behind A Smile
Inside of you, is he that made
Your day and night yet did not save
The best for you now so depressed
The worst now left and nothing less
Questions haunt and taunt your soul
That loved this man who all but stole
A heart that cared for one who lied
To it that hurts, today now cries
Hard to ignore when love seems lost
The end in mind, your heart the cost
But hold still and take a breath
There still is life, you're from death
Today seems dark where once you felt
The warmth of love in you who'd melt
In arms now gone where emptiness
Now holds your heart with loneliness
Heartbreak will pass in time you'll see
That love will come again to free
A hostage heart that survived pain
Assured with love by GOD ordained
