If you're in troubled waters
Just send up prayers to the Father
In the name of Jesus His Son
Troubled waters will cease to run
Sitting on the throne of God
He gives us power on the enemy to trod
For He is just a prayer away
And He is watching over us every day
He promises never to leave nor forsake you
If ...His commands you take heed to do
For He's a friend that sticketh closer than a brother
Like Him on earth there is no other
His joy is to fellowship with you
Having a personal relationship too
God is Spirit to be worshipped in spirit and truth
By doing so troubled waters he'll help you through
Eye hath not seen nor ear hath heard
God's goodness planned for man on earth
He longs for all to pray and be in His Word
To receive all the blessings of your rebirth
