Cheerful Generosity
The farmer who sows very few,
Will be harvesting little too;
But if he sows abundantly,
They will reap extravagantly.
Each one of you should always give,
Your needs to eternally live;
The more exuberant today,
The more blessings come from Yahweh.
The Lord wants a cheerful giver,
Not one to grumble or quiver;
Or like a person paying their tax,
Next to a man that has an ax.
The amount you give is up to you,
What you feel is fair in your view;
But the more that is sacrificed,
Shows total commitment to Christ.
Giving a little or a lot,
Depends how much Heaven is sought;
So no matter if rich or poor,
The percentage will show how pure.
