Reflections of My Heart
††† Somewhere ... A Place ... My Place ღ KKD ღ
Somewhere ... A Place ...
My Place
As I stand upon the Shore
the breeze gently caressing my skin
I reflect upon my life
and digging deep witnin
I believe for each of us
there is a place in time
The task set before me
is to finally find mine.
What does life
hold for me
To know the future
do I really wish to see
I guess the daily struggles
really aren't so bad
I need to smile again
releasing all the sad
I reflect upon the rising tide
Gently rocking with no start or end
the same tender care
as that of forever friends
As the waves crash upon the shore
with a fierce mighty blow
Washing away what once was
giving birth for new to grow
It seems the past
I can not escape
It can drown the soul
like a heavy black drape
I no longer run and struggle
upon unfamiluar sod
For my life my future
I have turned over to God
It is thru Him
and His loving Grace
That He will lead
to Somwhere... A Place...
My Place
