So Proud
Tony this is for you written 9/8/2008 to let you know I am very proud of you and all you have done, Reach for the sky son, love you always. Nannie xxx
I`d like to tell the world today
How proud I am in every way
Of Tony and what he`s achieved
Four firsts a second and two threes
Maths and physics, they`re his field
Yet you know he did not yield
He passed his French and English too
Proving what we all can do
What seems impossible and tough
We only have to work enough
I`m just as proud that in his fear
He did not think he`d pass this year
No ego overgrown with pride
His feelings he found hard to hide
Yet he did his very best
When tackling every single test
That`s all that anyone can do
And my son I`m proud of you
Go forward now with head held high
Reach for the stars and touch the sky
Become all that I know you can
As you grow to be a man
Don`t forget the lessons learned
Everything we do, is earned
I know son that you`ll go far
Because you know, you are a star.
