Nocturne

Darkest night descends so slowly
The wishes of many find flight
I lay here with eyes entranced above
In hopes to catch those of your heart

A sky seeker, I wear the name well
Like a pilgrim paying homage
To the only thing that seems true
Calling and casting for you alone

Perhaps it is here on my dreamscape
That this nocturne can draw you near
Guiding your heart whispers ever close
Gifting me but one small glimpse

A sky seeker, a searcher of stars
Some may say it is such a wasted eve
Still,
I know my eyes are those of the faithful
One day I shall capture that wish
