A Love in Heaven
If the world would hate you,
Keep Heaven in your view;
For it is not you alone,
But also Christ on His throne.
Keep in mind you sojourn,
Where before you were born;
That Christ walked on this earth,
And was hated since birth.
If you were of this world,
Then your love would be hurled;
At all the worldly lust,
But in Christ not to trust.
But if you're not from here,
Then your choice is made clear;
That Heaven is your home,
And on earth, you just roam.
Keep in mind what I say,
As you roam, do not stray;
Since your heart has much love,
For your home up above.
