Hello my precious Mama,it's me your 4th of seven
Today again is another birthday for you in heaven
The rose I know is my on earth's connection
For they always come along with such perfection
I can see you holding one in your hand today
For it is a special way of telling us you're okay
We all still miss you everyday of our life
But we know now for you there's no more strife
You struggled and worked hard to take care of us
You were such a blessing from our Lord Jesus
Way too soon you were gone from our sight
Taking a part of our very heart's delight
You was more than just a Mama to me
We laughed and sang while going to the grocery
We loved to go to yard sales and get bargains
However there were times we had competitions
For our taste was alot the same
As we fumbled through the bargains of the day
Sometimes you bought things just for me
To my surprise as I had wanted them hopefully
Then there was the flowers that you adored
Always some in pots at your front door
We lived long distance in later years
You'd brag about their blooms being so near
For it would be the cold winter here in Indiana
Enticing me to visit and smell their sweet aroma
You'd send me pictures of your flowers and say ;
" On how the weather was so beautiful today "
Awe but the rose is my connection now
To my beautiful Mama in heaven it goes somehow
If by angels perhaps they take a picture, but I know
In heaven my Mama is watching my roses grow
So Mama until we share that rose garden on high
I'll picture you holding a rose in the sky
You're more beautiful now than roses here on earth
For the glory of them are close to the one who gave birth
The most beautiful rose of Texas is now gone
She now lives in her heavenly rose garden home
Far above the stars she walks around
But the thorns of life won't prick her now
Her beautiful smile we'll again see
As we are rejoined in joyous harmony
For but a short time was you here on earth
Someday in eternity we'll reunite ....
with the one that gave us birth
Lovingly ;Your Daughter
Happy Birthday Mama!!
