Away back in the 1900's
Out on a cattle and sheep property-
Doing it all the oldest way
Sounds more than great to me-
No wam bam thank you mam machines
Only strong backs and solid yakka-
Back when men were really men back then
And yes for smoko they smoked tobacca-
They then started before sun was up
And finished after it went to bed-
Doing things the oldest and the best way
Without house size tractors then instead-
Then sorting out men from the boys
And the would be's if they could be's too-
Machines never did the hard work for them
All the stuff they now have so new-
Going back to the 1900's
If only ever one ever could-
A bloke then earned his daily pay
And felt a real days work was good-
