Bright Light
As you know having read and heard,
In the beginning was the Word;
The Word was with God and Divine,
For a guiding light to outshine.
Through Him everything was made,
The beauty of the world displayed;
While the Heavens filled the sky,
With bright stars to exemplify.
All life became because of Him,
Existing with vigor and vim;
While the light shined through the dark,
For all beasts see as they embark.
Life was within as light of men,
The same as now as it was then;
And the light still shines true to day,
Within each one that will obey.
The light that shines deep within you,
Will keep shining if you stay true;
If it becomes dim please confess,
So God makes brighter and will bless.
