Rhymes of the Heart
Help Me/by,Danielle(Rogers)Earls
This one also written by my oldest daughter
after the death of my aunt her great aunt
My daughter lived with and cared for her for
the past 5 years, her death has been and is
so hard for her. This hurts me for Mommas don't
have all the answers
Help Me
Momma, please help me, tell me where to start
How do I go on with this broken heart
I never should of left her, that night all-alone
I had no way of knowing when I got back shed be gone
Do you think she knew when I was there?
Did she know it was me when I brushed her hair?
I can't sleep at night; all that I do is cry
Why did He have to take her, I've questioned god why
Will I ever be able to get on with my life?
And be who I was, a mother and a wife
My world revolved around her for the last five years
Once filled with laughter now filled with tears
I wasn't even there to hold her by the hand
As she took her final walk to the Promised Land
I can still hear her laughter feel her gentle touch
Do you think she really knew that I loved her so much?
Momma please help me tell me what to do
You've already been through this that's why I'm asking you
