Rejoicing Trials
Even though you are down,
It is not the time;
For wearing a frown,
With a life of crime.
Count it all as joy,
Even when you fall;
For strife can destroy,
And will make you thrall.
Temptations are great,
That will cause you greed;
And will suffocate,
What you really need.
Let faith work patience,
To build wisdom up;
Making your conscience,
To replete your cup.
Your faith gives power,
For to persevere;
That God will shower,
Blessings to revere.
