Following Jesus
Let me see if you all agree,
The feelings for one another;
Just as Jesus Christ would decree,
Love of a sister or brother.
Loving like sisters and brothers,
Full of pity and without pride;
Being tolerant of others,
While having Christ as your guide.
Do not let evil enter your sight,
Avenging a wrong to pay back;
Two wrongs can never make a right,
Lowering you to what they lack.
The situation could be worse,
Since evil can really depress;
So instead of trying to curse,
Pray to the Lord asking to bless.
So if you have the love of life,
Desiring to see the good days;
Tolerate the toil and strife,
For following Christ and His ways.
