A Good Sense of HumorI heard some ridiculing a comedian I could not understand just why- As often he hit the nail right on the head Common sense it's self could not deny- Why would some ridicule a comedian He gets his material all from life- From every day human behavior And every day created strife- I have heard at times more common sense From a comedian up on the stage- Many a true word is said in jest And often opens up a brand new page- If one has not got a sense of humor In this life than ones lost the plot- There's many situations in this life A sense of humors all ones got- I salute the on stage comedian Often an accurate point of view- But it's only a sense of humor That will often have you make it through- Terrence Michael Sutton copyright 2008 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
