I Pray...One Day At A Time
There seems to be more women now at church than men
Trying to stand in the gap for loved ones and their children
Dear Lord above_ Why has it changed for them?
God's word says the leader of the home should be the men
For a time such as this You are raising up women
I wonder if it's because your voice they're hearing
Your word says a 3 fold cord is not easily broken
Oh what power a couple possess when together
your word is spoken
Yet many men these days sit on the side line
While more women tend to your word at this time
I pray for strength and anointing to now be given
One day at a time for your obedient women
Father I'd much rather the anointing be for both
But it seems more and more mens hearts are waxing cold
It's so sad to see in these last days and age
Women carrying all the burden more every day
My heart hurts to see the absence and lack of unity
Of parents spiritually growing together with their family
So many times men want to do their own thing
Their hobbies and fishing leaving women to parenting
A real man does cry and is a humble man of God
His heart is steadfast on the enemy to trod
He protects his family by daily being in prayer
Side by each with his wife he is always there
Occassionally the man has to play both roles
Some women refusing salvation for their souls
Whatever the case may be I do humbly pray
One day at a time Lord Jesus to strengthen the family
