 Penniluck's legacy

A Pensioner!

To my brother Jim in Australia on his 65th birthday. Have a great one Bruv love you always Penni xxx

When you were six and I was four
We did not hear time at the door
So full of hopes for dreams we made
Oh how nice if youth just stayed

Remember Jim when as a teen
You and Sonny, me and Jean
Thought we owned the world back then
Wish we could live it all again

You became a grown up man
Did your best did all you can
Replaced a father gone too soon
He`ll be proud if looking doon

Then you married oh so young
Still together having fun
Had three children watched them grow
Yet still bruv you did not know

Time would pass you by so fast
Now you make each moment last
Like us all you`re growing older
Winters feel a little colder

But you will live to be so old
You won`t mind the bloody cold
And my brother I will be
Close behind you, wait and see

All the memories to store
On your far and distant shore
You will save within your heart
As you have right from the start

Distance does not change the fact
Our memories go back and back
Into childhood and you know
I will always love you so

Have a lovely day today
Remember not too old to play
Through the ether and through time
Happy birthday, brother mine
