Death Shall Not Let Me Lie
My heart languishes in sorrow to day
For I feel an almighty force bearing down upon me
An army of many thousands pushing upon my shoulders
Stampeding with their steeds across my chest like thunder
One heart standing upright against this foe, this enemy...
I try to fight off with the best weapons I have, strength
My efforts go unheeded they attack with speed and cunning
Plunging my world into a darkness of despair and pain
Smothering out the sun, this entity engulfs my whole
Overpowering and capturing my heart and mostly my soul
My heart languishes in sorrow to day
Making me feel I want to die a thousand deaths
For if only I could relinquish these deaths
No matter how many times this thing attacks me
Surly then I would be free from it's torment?
