Thoughts of YouThe darkness of the night fills the space around me Softly as it swirls in the cool breeze. A flicker of light in the distance, is all that can be seen. I feel you gently touch my arm and joy leaps in my heart. I dare not move or look around, for fear that you will fly. I feel you near me,closer now, wandering why I cry. When all along your here with me, watching as I sway. Your love has bridged the distance, that your death made that day. I miss you now and forever more, until that great beyond. I sit here with your memory, in the blackness that is life, With longing in my shattered heart to have you here again, Yet I settle for a gentle touch, from you upon my arm.
