It`s Saturday and people are on the move
I hope for them the weather does improve
Our last 2 days haven`t been too bad
Leaving the Duchy always makes me feel sad.
Thank goodness this year no floods did we find
But won`t be sorry to leave the rain behind,
A soggy holiday is what we had
But for the break I am ever so glad.
I`m a little brown but only just
I`m sure it`s wind burn or even rust,
The sun peeped through maybe once or twice
Which at the time was ever so nice.
Just to add insult to injury
Coming home was quite a journey
It was nose to bumper all the way
And made for a 10 1/2hr day.
