strummin daysHe showed electric talent when he played that wild guitar his stance was full of power and his strumming took him far he was a country yokel though his chords were hot and mean he played to vast new audiences wherever he did go gals did scream the band were hard and rocking undisciplined and mean they conquered all the local gigs and folks said they had far to go their father was a teacher taught them diction too then they stormed the pubs and youth club gigs they were a rocking show n cool the gals all flocked to see them and hear those melodies some lads adored their chords and riffs till they went off to sea they lived a quiet life of sombre means far from the seedy crews they sailed upon the QE11 and then settled down in poole Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
