Eleven years have flown on by
Can`t believe how time can fly
Yesterday you were so small
Now my boy you`ve grown so tall
Soon you`ll move to bigger schools
Following the growing rules
Clever laddie that you are
I know you will go so far
Anything you plan to do
You will succeed, you know that`s true
Sorry that you left so fast
Didn`t make our moment last
It was grand to see your face
Hear your voice, discuss your tastes
In life and what you want to be
So this poem, with love from me
Wishes you the very best
Fill life to the brim with zest
