 Poems for Lovers and Sinners

Living Nightmare

  Feel them, there all around
enticing bewitching and calling by name
  You'll never know when they'll grab -
once you're in their grip - you'll know

That happy world will turn grey and cold
you can be offered a thousand riches even gold
it doesn't matter any more to you -
only one thing is on your mind...Blankness

You can walk down the street and see no one
even though it's thronging with people
walking past faces you know - now don't recognize
only one thing is in your mind...Death

And in the blackness of the night...alone
  the voices come and visit
telling you fairy tales of darker worlds
you drift into sleep till the break of dawn...

Then the Nightmare begins Again -
