At the bottom of the sea
Photobucket

I once knew a place at the bottom of the sea
Cold, Dark, desolate and empty
Endless, yet claustrophobic
Arms flapping but nothing to grip
Every part of me, moved slowly
Suffocating and empty
There's no further to fall
You feel the currents pull
Oxygen fading, time to make a choice
From above you hear a voice
A voice so full of life and hope
At last you're given some rope
Legs swing systematically into motion
Soon you're not alone in the ocean
You prepare to face the bends
But it's worth it, to be with friends
Soon you see life again
Coral reefs and the beauty of the sea
Those sharks are now graceful fish
Not from your nightmare list
You'll never forget that feeling
And your lifless soul screaming
Eventually ou see the sky
And boat passing by
A local fishing boat
Sees you afloat
A hand pulls you aboard
Mightier than the Lord
Voices cheer all-around
Been so long since you've heard that sound
They wrap you up and feed your stomach
You can't believe how much you f***ed up
The boat takes you back to land
But Rock Bottom's a place you now understand.
