'Think of Me'
When times get rough, and tears are near
Think of me,
When hands let go, and faith grows less
Think of me,
When you are afraid of what you don't know,
Or where the road will lead you to go
Think of me.
Times can be hard, and times can be mean
Especially when you feel all alone,
But know in your heart that beats inside you,
That my heart still beats with endearment for you.
I held my hands in friendship to yours
In hope that they somehow would guide you,
And even though the water runs deep,
They still lay upon you when you lay down to sleep.
Remember to smile, and remember to laugh
Whenever you feel like crying,
For times will get better though right now you can't see,
Just hold tight to my hands, and let your heart think of me.
