Houses Divided
Every kingdom divided,
Brings desolation and waste;
In the Lord not abided,
And no longer are they chaste.
Every house in division,
Destroys itself in divorce;
Heading for a collision,
That the devil would endorse.
Satan would not send Satan,
For himself to try to fight;
Rather tempt where we weaken,
And as strength loses its might.
Just how would his kingdom stand?
Casting out of his own men;
Like living on sinking sand,
Never to see them again.
So let the Lord be the judge,
That's able to cast them out;
For He will not have a grudge,
Nor will He shed any doubt.
