Moon in all your splendor
Rise above the trees so tall,
Shine your warmth upon the face
Which looks at you enthralled.
Some say that you are just a rock
In darkness, ever lost,
Without the sun beneath your wings
No shadow do you cast.
Moon in all your splendor
Shine upon the earth so still,
Cast your glow upon the soul
Who stands upon the hill.
Some say that you are just a rock
In timeless space you float,
You draw the tides, and pull our eyes
To the beauty that you boast.

place I often find inspiration, from memories,
gathered upon the side-hill of my grandpa's farm. ~
