Leniency for a Brother
If a brother has done you wrong,
Do not let agony prolong;
For you who are of the Spirit,
Can forgive to free the debit.
For you can put such a one right,
In the spirit of love and light;
But on yourself by keeping watch,
Remaining righteously topnotch.
That is so you do not ensnare,
Yourself with being in despair;
For fear that it may be a test,
And failing in doing your best.
Be helping hands to another,
Of problems faced by a brother;
Show them that they are not alone,
When trouble is gnawing a bone.
And remember the Law of Christ,
Sharing love while sacrificed;
But let each man to test his work,
Or not trapped where Satan may lurk.
