If I had known you way back then.
Would we be more than friends?

We could've had a love that shows.
And tasted a passion that grows.
Seems that's just the way it goes.

Sweet friendship in great measure.
A relationship, that I treasure.
It brings me, so much pleasure.

We're just friends, and that's okay.
but if I had known you yesterday,
would things be a different way?
