Death Will Not Take Me
Death walking bewildered
looking pale, yet steadfast
moving like a spirit ghost
silently, yet communicating
with an hidden depth of mercy
You reach out to touch her
take hold and caress
within the mist your hands don't touch...
but silently brush an ice cold dress
Your soul is begging her to take an hold
but this dark being stares into your eyes
intensely opalescent, you feel her death shroud
smell it and feel the crevices within
Its not your time you're told...
Not Yet...Not Yet!
