Within These Words
Two days have past, alone are we
Cannot stop writing, my thoughts of thee
Yet time steals what I cannot hold
Your hand my love, my statement bold
All seems right when things are wrong
In words written, you've made us strong
To breathe and write and gaze at you
Although picture, will have to do
I dig real deep to find the words
Unspoken, that you've not heard
Against your heart, against mine too
Who chases dreams I hold on to
Within these words, you'll find someone
That knows not you but overcomes
My emptiness, if just in words
A soul some think, lost and absurd
