Treasures Of  Life

When I was but a wee child
How we played many a game-
Of pirates and buried treasures
With all the adventure of same-
I do remember childhood dreams
Of treasures buried in the sand-
But after growing,traveling the world
Over land and oceans grand-
I came to feel there was much more
Than the worlds silver and gold-
A way more precious prize to find
Dreamed of since days of old-
A finding beyond imagination
A possessing of way more ever still-
A knowing in all of life's reality
More than all those old dreams could fill-
Better than reaching an unclimbable height
Feelings that all upon earth wish to feel-
A treasure long searched for by all in life
To know it's yours alone and it's real-
Knowing within there's no richer feeling
Worth more than all the wealth that be-
A one and only real true love
And yes now it all belongs to me-
A prize that will last for eternity
A knowing I can take when I go-
Having found real true love in life
One who love's and adores just me ever so-
