The Last Rose
Dear Love, it's me who writes again
Poems, few words to you we send
Just to touch what we can't see
Your face distant, electronically
Dear heart be still, she is but there
Someone unknown yet soul you bare
If just but friend who sheds her light
Upon jester who once was Knight
Dear one who has but floored this man
Whose legs feel more like rubber bands
Has given us a chance to write
To you Mia that others spite
It's sad the state of mind today
Of those who try to have their way
To distort truth and hurt others
To cause great pain to work one mothered
Be you today for it's whats seen
By him who knows of her in dreams
Of time and place maybe in tale
Woman, Last Rose, in life, my fairy tale
