Passion of Christ
Jesus took our pain,
That we always attain;
That is coated with sin,
And corrupts us within.
He seem to be diseased,
That the guards even teased;
Even had been caste out,
By His own that had doubt.
But it was for the sins,
That a new life begins,
If repent and believe,
Then surely we receive.
The evil things you do,
He was punished for you;
So He will take the rap,
When you fell in the trap.
Our sorrow and grief,
Erased with the belief;
That Christ is our Lord,
Never to be ignored.
