question: can a poem save a LIFE?
if so, what would a poet WRITE?
is it possible that an entire
'nation' can be 'awakened'
when a Positive Poet step to the stage and RECITE?
he can easily talk about God's Goodness,
or walking a straight path
but all that's been done BEFORE
some folks are dying to know the truth
can rhyming lines of metaphoric verse
show them the DOOR?
acts of negativity has gotten out of hand,
today is the day we begin to even the SCORE
'poetry' can 'positively' influence a person's MOOD
to the hungry, poems filled with lyrical wisdom
can be served and consumed as FOOD
when satisfied listeners walk away...
they do so with a much better ATTITUDE
power in poetry is measured
by the reaction of the READER
what we need today is powerful lyric
to awaken LEADERS
if a poem can reflect
the soul's true 'image'
than there is no 'limit'
to what poetry can DO
